As of May 1st, 2017, Justice Public School is accepting applications for the following certified teaching position(s).

Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher.

Job Description/Duties: The Early Childhood/Elementary Education teacher will be responsible for providing quality education services for elementary students in grades PK-8. This includes but is not limited to the preparation, instruction, holding and conducting parent meetings, completing all required paperwork, collaborating with other educators regarding needs of students, maintaining accurate educational records, providing appropriate evaluations, assessments, and reports for students, maintaining positive relationships with parents and community patrons, attendance at student activities, and other duties as assigned by district or building administration.

Job Qualifications: Elementary Education and Early Childhood Teacher Certification.
It is preferred that the Applicant has a current Class B CDL and appropriate SDE Bus Driver Certificate.

Salary: Based on degree and years of experience.

Posting Close Date and Employment Start Date: Posting will remain open until the position is filled.  In-Service and Classes will begin in early August, 2017.

As of January 23rd, 2017, Justice Public School is accepting applications for the following non-certified support position(s).

Job Title: Cafeteria Staff/Cook.

Job Description/Duties: The Cafeteria Staff/Cook will prepare food according to the specific time schedule.  Duties include mainly the cooking of main dishes and vegetables. However, every job in the kitchen may be included.  These include, but are not limited to food preparation, baking and cooking, pot washing, serving, mopping, dish machine operation, cashier, sweeping, and/or cleaning of kitchen, dining area, equipment and any other duties as assigned by district or building administration.  Cafeteria Staff/Cooks will maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the cafeteria.  Cafeteria Staff/Cooks will check food shipments into the school and maintain correct monthly inventory.  Cafeteria Staff/Cooks will prepare food according to a planned menu and tested uniform recipes and determine if the finished product is of best quality both in flavor and appearance before it is served.  Cafeteria Staff/Cooks assume responsibility for storage and disposal of unused foods.  Cafeteria Staff/Cooks will maintain positive relationships with parents, students, community patrons, faculty, staff, and administration.

Job Qualifications: Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude for successful performance of the job requirements.  Some training and experience in food preparation are required.  Cafeteria Staff will exhibit sufficient reading and math ability to make adjustments in recipes regularly for menu preparation and changes as well as regular reporting and record-keeping requirements.

Salary: Based on the current district support staff salary schedule.
